Public agency bicycle advisory committees

To make a difference in the city you live, work, or play in, consider joining or attending your city’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) or other relevant committee. Learn more about these committees — and how to get involved.

Bicycle and pedestrian plans

A bicycle and pedestrian plan is a document which includes existing conditions for walking and biking, analyses current issues and needs and proposes improvements for biking and walking in the region specified by the plan. Many cities in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties have Bicycle/Pedestrian Plans. See those for your community.
